So I landed in Saskatoon this afternoon for our first trade show this season. I honestly love going to trade shows... I get to see my customers and I get to do what I love to do.... sell CLOTHES! :) It is extremely cold here right now, -27 degrees. EW! We walked 3 blocks to dinner tonight and I swore my face was going to fall off. HOW do people live in these conditions? haha Tomorrow morning we will be setting up our booth so I'll take photos and post those for you. Sorry this is such a boring post, but I figured I should post something for you in the mean time.

Happy Smiles

The other night I did a huge spring cleaning to my closet... one and a half garbage bags later I'm left with a full closet and still I feel there's nothing to wear when I get up in the morning. HAHA How can that be!?!?! While I do my daily blog and website searching for current trends, styles and celebrity fashion I came across this pic (above) and instantly got inspired to wear heels to work today... I try to wear heels at least once a week to work, not only do you feel like a girl, but i feel it trains your feet for those nights you go out wearing platform heels. :) Oh the work we put into being a girl. 

Weekend Festivities

Last night my boyfriend, our buddy and I all went to Rev's bowling alley for a few games. First game I won and then the second game I lost. HAHA Good times. (above photo of Cliff)

While we were playing we turn around to see a group of people dressed up in mascots; we talked to our server and she told us that they come in once a month dressed up in these costumes and they call themselves the 'BC Furries'. 

Today a group of us met up downtown for their one year olympic anniversary party. Someone mentioned at how expensive it is to light the torch.... they said something like $5,000 per hour?!?! Do YOU know if this is true!? hmmm..... Beautiful regardless. :) 

Down at Robson Square there were people walking around the ice rink on stilts..... the lady chased Kevin and he ducked.... pretty funny.

Hello Sunshine

I've been slacking here a bit and I haven't posted anything in a week or so, my apologies. However, I must say that I am getting VERY excited for Spring to arrive... any day would be appreciated Mr. Sun. The things I love about a season is yes of course the clothes that brighten the store but also all the flower shops with pretty flowers. This season the one thing I want to do for myself is to buy some fresh flowers for my living room.... who doesn't love the smell and look of fresh tulips!!!

So last week was my 29th birthday which I had a big group of friends come out which was so lovely!!! I have some great friends!! On the Friday before my birthday I went for a small girls dinner at Judas Goat in Gastown which was lovely and then went to The Pourhouse to meet up with everyone else. I must say these 2 places are a "must go to". On my actual birthday, Saturday, I went for brunch with my family and then my boyfriend and I made a lovely mussels & frits dinner at home with some rose wine. YUM!!!

My girlfriend Diana came to visit me from Perth, Australia and she brought me back a Vogue Australia and a local magazine called Frankie which is SO good!!

On Sunday I went to my moms and she took me to get a facial which by the way is the most amazing feeling ever!!!! It was the first time i've had one and I will definitely be back to get one, I hope next month. After this my boyfriend came over and my two girlfriends Leah & Diana, the girls visiting from Perth, and we had a delicious roast organic chicken dinner (sorry I forgot to take photos).
