Suicide Mondays

Today a friend quoted today as "suicide Mondays" I thought to myself... THAT'S GENIUS! But then again, why do I even want that mere thought to be a reality; I don't. I had a wonderful long weekend with family so today is NOT a suicide Monday!! :) This weekend was filled with awesome fun things such as brunch with a bunch of people I hadn't seen in ages (as in like 8-10 yrs), hanging out at Burnaby Mountain with my boyfriend and our dog Andy, taking photographs, going to Value Village (VV Boutique is what I refer it to) and eating turkey dinner with family over the brutal hockey game. Of course there was always some time in there for some blog surfing (which i LOVE). How did you enjoy your long weekend??

Where is Spring!? I have been so busy with work, but really this is no excuse for not blog writing. My apologies. The weather has been so on and off these days, but let me tell you how excited I am to start wearing jean jackets and leather bombers and sunglasses!!!!Mr. Sunshine please come out soon!!!

To prepare myself for summer, which is creeping up on us oh so very fast, I have started up my boot-camp classes. I just got back from one tonight and oh my god my legs are jello! I honestly thought my legs were going to give out on me leaving and walking down 3 flights of stairs (they have no elevator). Yes, I was that girl holding BOTH railings walking down the stairs. haha On top of this I have been working out in the gym in my building a few times a week at least and going in the sauna. Summer time I'll (hopefully) be ready for you!! :)  I love spring/summer fashion!!! What are you most looking forward to this Spring/Summer time!?!

So I know I haven't posted any photos in a really long time, and I am sorry for not keeping up with this, however, I DO have a good excuse.... not only was I away in Saskatoon and Edmonton for work but my work computer also died in the midst of all this going on. So now we are back in action and I will keep you up to date on things that are happening :) See you next week with hopefully a more exciting post.

So I landed in Saskatoon this afternoon for our first trade show this season. I honestly love going to trade shows... I get to see my customers and I get to do what I love to do.... sell CLOTHES! :) It is extremely cold here right now, -27 degrees. EW! We walked 3 blocks to dinner tonight and I swore my face was going to fall off. HOW do people live in these conditions? haha Tomorrow morning we will be setting up our booth so I'll take photos and post those for you. Sorry this is such a boring post, but I figured I should post something for you in the mean time.

Happy Smiles

The other night I did a huge spring cleaning to my closet... one and a half garbage bags later I'm left with a full closet and still I feel there's nothing to wear when I get up in the morning. HAHA How can that be!?!?! While I do my daily blog and website searching for current trends, styles and celebrity fashion I came across this pic (above) and instantly got inspired to wear heels to work today... I try to wear heels at least once a week to work, not only do you feel like a girl, but i feel it trains your feet for those nights you go out wearing platform heels. :) Oh the work we put into being a girl. 

Weekend Festivities

Last night my boyfriend, our buddy and I all went to Rev's bowling alley for a few games. First game I won and then the second game I lost. HAHA Good times. (above photo of Cliff)

While we were playing we turn around to see a group of people dressed up in mascots; we talked to our server and she told us that they come in once a month dressed up in these costumes and they call themselves the 'BC Furries'. 

Today a group of us met up downtown for their one year olympic anniversary party. Someone mentioned at how expensive it is to light the torch.... they said something like $5,000 per hour?!?! Do YOU know if this is true!? hmmm..... Beautiful regardless. :) 

Down at Robson Square there were people walking around the ice rink on stilts..... the lady chased Kevin and he ducked.... pretty funny.
